Hag’s Catch Kit Program Rules (2026) Program

 

Overview:

We’re excited to launch the 2026 Hag’s Hammers Catch Kit Competition. If you catch a trophy fish on Hag’s gear anywhere in the continental United States, we want to celebrate that moment with you.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Fish Requirements: The fish must be either an 8-pound (or larger) largemouth bass or a 6-pound (or larger) smallmouth bass.

• Public Waters: It must be caught in public waters using a rod and reel.

• Hag’s Baits Only: The fish must be caught on any Hag’s Baits product—whether that’s our soft plastics, bladed jigs, swim jigs, or any bait we manufacture. The primary bait must be a product manufactured and sold by Hag’s Baits. (Example: You cannot use another brand’s lure and put a Hag’s Baits trailer on it. You cannot use a Hag’s Baits product and pair it with another brands trailer.)

• Photo Submission Requirements: To enter, you’ll need to provide three clear photos:

1. Measurement Photo: Lay the fish on a rigid measuring board. The fish must be placed so that the entire measuring board’s length numbers and the fish from head to tail are visible and readable.

2. Weight Photo: Use a digital scale to weigh the fish. The entire scale display and the fish must be visible and clearly readable in the photo.

3. Angler Holding Photo: Take a picture of yourself holding the fish. Support the fish properly with one hand on its lower jaw and the other hand supporting its belly just behind the anal fin.

Submission Details:

• Visit Hagsbaits.com and click the “2026 Hag’s Hammers Catch Kit Contest” tab. You be required to complete the form in its entirety.  

• By submitting, you grant Hag’s Baits full, exclusive rights to use these photos for marketing.

• This program is open to anglers across the entire United States. We will ship the Catch Kit to any winner within the lower 48 states.

• Rewards and Limits:

• We will give away 500 Catch Kits in 2026, which will include Hag’s baits and gear.

• Each angler can receive up to 5 kits for their catches in 2026. (Disclaimer: An angler is only allowed to submit 5 fish per contest year.)

• At the end of the year, we’ll award a special prize to the angler with the largest largemouth bass and smallmouth bass submitted. Hag’s Baits will pay for a replica of the largest smallmouth and largemouth bass submitted by the angler. The replica will be shipped to the angler upon completion.

• Additionally, all participants will be entered into a drawing for another prize, a Hag’s Baits rod and bait assortment.
